About the C-Cerpent Puppet Kits
Easy to read knitting instructions
You knit these cute, fuzzy, lovable little hand puppets from our complete kits. We include instructions with illustrations and suggestions for their faces. Use your imagination to make your C-Cerpent unique. All you need to add is 5 size 10 double pointed needles and an embroidery needle.
From floppy knit to felted toy
After you’ve knitted them they look big and sloppy, they might even have a few errors. Then you wash them in your washing machine to turn the wool yarn into a felted toy. They get smaller and thicker and the errors disappear. Felting hides all sorts of issues. (This is why we just LOVE felted projects!) Look at Nigel before and after felting.
A fast knitting project
An intermediate knitter should be able to complete knitting the larger C-Cerpent in approximately 9 hours. A fast, weekend project! The smaller one goes even faster.
Soft and washable, easy to take along
C-Cerpent puppets love to travel too. They are fun at home, in a car, on a plane, or even on a camping trip. Pack them in a backpack or in a suitcase. (Small spaces don’t bother them.) You and your child can read to them, take them for walks, or create adventures. Children quickly learn to create their own puppet stories. C-Cerpents promote creativity and are safe for all ages.
The two puppets are perfect for interaction between an adult and child! Or one person can use both puppets to express different points of view. However, use for political arguments is NOT recommended!
When you have knitted your love into them, they are ready to go and, with reasonable care, will last a long, long time. Your puppets are washable in cool water. There are no parts to swallow, wear out, lose, or break! NO BATTERIES TO REPLACE!
